Monmouthshire Walking Festival 2012 - Navigation Course

Are you new to walking or want to attempt more challenging walks but are concerned about getting lost? Perhaps you walk regularly but want to update your skills? We have teamed up with the Monmouthshire Walking Festival to offer a navigation course for walkers.
The course will consist of an introduction to the basic principles followed by a practical session to develop your skills. The course will last 2 to 2.5 hours and aims to develop your skills in map reading and navigation.
Note: This course is repeated on Friday 29th June at Chepstow Tourist Information Centre.
For your rucksack: Your compass, handheld GPS or GPS enabled mobile phone.
